Happy Kids Happy You delivers training and personal development to childcare practitioners, including nursery staff, breakfast and after school care providers, childminders, foster carers, Early Years Professionals, NQTs and Teaching Assistants.

A selection of workshops are presented, exploring effective communication in the context of:

1. The children you care for:

  • The Happy Kids Happy You approach. Similar to the programme for parents, these six training modules cover key aspects of communicating with children including your words, body language and attitude. Modules outlined below.

2. The parent-practitioner partnership:

  • Developing your relationships with parents and carers. Building trust, respect and support in the parent-practitioner partnership to achieve better outcomes for children.

3. Working with your colleagues:

  • Using NLP to bring out the best in your team. Techniques to communicate more effectively with your colleagues to get more of what you want in your setting.
  • Coaching skills for middle managers. Using a coaching approach to improve working relationships and staff performance in your childcare setting.

Tailored to your specific needs…

Happy Kids Happy You tailors training, coaching and public speaking to meet your specific needs on the themes of NLP, effective communication, personal development, goal setting, meeting the challenges of childcare, parenthood and family life. You can also sponsor Happy Kids Happy You to deliver workshop programmes or bespoke sessions to the parents and carers you work with, and to enhance and complement your initiatives.
